HONEY

We call our honey "Mountain Honey" because it comes from the rugged mountains of two of Italy's largest National Parks.   Anversa degli Abruzzi, also a World Wildlife Federation site, is a region of pristine air quality and micro climates and is home to over 125 wild herbs and flowers. Our two producers have not experienced the decimation of their hives like in many parts of the world.  The beekeepers make sure their bees never leave their home which is a rare feat. Their savory honey is intense and full of flavor which is why we have been honored with two prestigious SOFI Awards.
