This is not your average ricotta. Our Smoked Ricotta with Juniper & Chives is an award-winning Italian cheese crafted from the milk whey of our Sopravvissana sheep, raised with care on our family farm in the Gran Sasso mountains of Abruzzo, Italy.
Aged for 3–6 months and cold-smoked over wild juniper, this organic sheep’s milk ricotta develops a unique, savory-sweet flavor and a firm, sliceable texture. The smoke lends subtle depth and mountain character, while the hand-coated chive rind adds a fresh, herbaceous lift to every bite.
Recognized by Slow Food and awarded the Grand Prize at the Olympics of Mountain Cheese, this is a true gem of traditional Italian cheesemaking—bold, rustic, and refined.
Each wheel weighs approximately 9–10 oz and pairs perfectly with our Miele di Santoreggia(savory honey) for a showstopping sweet-savory pairing that’s unforgettable on any cheese board.
(Approx. 0.5 lb)
