Peperoncino Extra Virgin Olive Oil by Galantino 250ml
This delicious spicy chili pepper fused extra virgin olive oil is part of Galantino’s line of flavored oils. Produced by crushing the olives and peperoncino together without the use of any added flavoring.
The olives are harvested from 15th October to 31st December, when they are at perfect stage of ripeness, following the time honored technique of hand gathering by shaking the branches of the olive trees so that the olives fall gently onto canvas “hammocks”. Witness to the quality of the olives is the care taken in yearly pruning, drip-irrigation.
Galantino’s Ogliarola and Coratina olives are hand-harvested the traditional way, by shaking the branches of the olive trees so that the olives fall gently onto canvas traps. In another nod to tradition, Galantino mills their olives with traditional granite millstones.
