This 400g "Italian Christmas Cake" is a type of Italian sweet bread typically prepared and enjoyed for Christmas and New Years. Our 100% gluten-free version is produced in Fara San Martino in the region of Abruzzo, Italy, by our gluten free pasta producer. It is made according to the classic Panettone recipe with traditional processes, but it is the ONLY gluten free Panettone following the production process specification approved by the Italian Ministry, Department of Production and Industry! This panettone utilizes strictly- enforced and regulated ingredients that are 100% gluten free and GMO free.
Studded with creamy chocolate chips, this panettone is rich with the finest of ingredients Abruzzo has to offer; Eggs, butter, honey, sugar and vanilla all play their part in developing the depth of flavor present in this delicacy, while creating the cakey texture and strong crumb not typically achieved with typical gluten free products. Cheerily arriving to you in a festive, decorated red box- reward yourself, a loved one or a gluten free foodie to this absolute treat- they won't believe it's gluten free! Serve it in wedge slices and accompany it with hot chocolate, sweet wine or your favorite sweet liqueur- then use any leftovers for french toast or bread pudding. Eggs, butter, honey, potato starch, chocolate drops (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, emulsifier, sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla flavoring), sugar, rice flour, emulsifier, sunflower lecithin, agave inulin, psyllium fiber, thickeners (xanthan gum, guar gum), salt, natural yeast, natural flavorings.
