Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil by Galantino 250ml
This extra virgin garlic olive oil is part of Galantino’s line of delicious flavored oils. Produced by crushing the olives and fresh garlic together without the use of any added essences, its intense flavor is noticeably different.
In the 1990's the already renowned Galantino olive mill revived an ancient technique and produced their first flavored oil – lemon – by crushing the olives and fresh lemons together without any added essences. Now they produce many flavors of oil using this same technique.
The olives are harvested from 15th October to 31st December, when they are at perfect stage of ripeness, following the time honored technique of hand gathering by shaking the branches of the olive trees so that the olives fall gently onto canvas “hammocks”. Witness to the quality of the olives is the care taken in yearly pruning, drip-irrigation.
The Galantino family acquired the “La Fenice” estate, which comprised 47 hectares of olive groves, providing for as far as the eye can see, a green expanse of over 15.000 Ogliarola and Coratina olive trees.
99% Extra virgin olive oil with 1% garlic.
Recommended for flavoring soups, bruschetta, meat, vegetables and for spaghetti.
