Our producer in Abruzzo, Italy, tells us that we are on track to have a beautiful harvest this year! Grown in the Adriatic sunshine, these precious olives are left on the branch until the very last second to ensure that theyve reached maximum plumpness and flavor. When we harvest, we press, which means our Olio Fresco is bottled and ready to enjoy within 7 days of being on the branch. The finished product is a robust, fruit-forward olive oil that is truly first of the season - every season. Our olives this year produced an oil NEON GREEN in color with golden reflections. It has an intense aroma of herbal marks and apple peel overtones. The taste is incredibly FRESH - GRASSY and BUTTERY, and as always, it finishes with the classic Abruzzo hint of pepper.
